Finding Models:
- Trade clothes or store credit in exchange for modeling shots.
- Find local high school or college girls who are interested in building a portfolio for free or consider paying them a small wage.
- Ask a close friend or relative to model for you and buy them dinner or another special treat.
- Contact a local modeling agency, explain your situation, and see if they have any new models who may be interested in expanding their portfolio.
- Reach out to small bloggers/influencers on Instagram and ask for product pictures in exchange for products.
Practicing your Photography:
- Test out the portrait mode on the iPhone and begin practicing taking pictures of people until you are comfortable enough to shoot your models.
- Amazon Echo Look will snap your picture with the sound of your voice (think Alexa with a camera).
- Add filters to the photos you shoot on your iPhone. You can purchase Lightroom presets that will take your editing abilities to the next level.
- Enroll in a free beginner photography course (Google has a ton) to understand the basics of capturing great photos and continue to build your skills until you are ready to hire a pro.
